Pitakumbura Navodya School is situated at Pitakumbura in the Monaragala district in Sri Lanka. There are around thousand students.
The school established in the 1960’s. The school is in the one of the top schools in the area. Most children won the island wide championships in sports, dancing, ICT etc.
Most people of this area are traditional Chena cultivators.
Traditional foods, chanting methods are still available.
